Linda C. Mack, founder and president of Mack International, the premier retained executive search and human capital/talent management consulting firm serving the family office/family enterprise and wealth management industry, was selected to co-facilitate a private family closed door session at the Opal Financial Group 2016 Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum: “The Race for Returns” held July 18-20 at the Hyatt Regency Newport in Newport, Rhode Island.

As Opal Group’s flagship event, the forum has become their largest family office event in the world. Discussions covered a wide variety of investment topics including direct investing, impact investing, non-correlated assets, family succession and sustainability, and other issues all dedicated to preserving and growing Family Office wealth.    

Mack co-facilitated a private, closed door family office workshop luncheon on July 20th with Natasha Pearl, CEO and Founder of Aston Pearl.

The session was organized for foundations, family offices, multi-family offices, non-discretionary consultants and accredited high-net worth individuals to address issues faced day to day. Topics of interest were gathered prior to the session from participants who shared their experiences, thoughts, concerns, challenges and solutions in a private peer exchange setting.

The annual Regatta Cup race served as a suitable metaphor for the “voyage” high-net-worth individuals and family offices in North America experienced during the three day conference, each navigating through their own “Race for Returns.”
